Over the past two years, I’ve been working on music projects, including videos, album releases, and essays related to the process of collaborative artistry. Much of this work is related to the underlying themes I’ve been exploring in this Ground Experience Substack page.
To keep this post short, I’ll simply share a link to a website that I created with several partners called “The Riverton Tribune”. This website is an imaginary newspaper depicting the stories of an imaginary town called Riverton, Maine. The spirit of this site, the articles, and the songwriting and music production are very much in alignment with the spirit and ethos of the Ground Experience writings.
I do want to add the caveat that the ideas, beliefs, and opinions, do not necessarily reflect those of my music colleagues, professional associations, and organizations and communities I am formally affiliated with.
And I hope that readers will have the opportunity to read some of the stories and hear some of the music. For clarity, please note that the articles that are written under the category “RIVERTON • The Aside Notes” are non-fiction. All other categories are fiction.
This summer, I will be returning to writing in the project called “All We Are • Dispatches from the Ground Experience”.
